Facts & Facilities
Description:
The Blue Mauritius is famous for adorning the Penny Museum in Port Louis, but you can rent one of the two Blue Pearl apartments, each of which contains two bedrooms, and let the shimmering Indian Ocean make your holiday something special. Two wrought iron gates lead into the estate, ensuring that you can drive right in and leave your rental car under the covered parking spaces on the lower villa floor. The two floors that lie above this rest upon pillars and a flat roof rounds off the building. The balcony that runs around the property ensures that as much light and ocean blue as possible seeps into the accommodation, while a barbeque evening is complete with views of the impressive Le Morne Brabant mountain. Each apartment can be reached up some wooden stairs, which lead down to a protected courtyard with a pool, sun-loungers, and a shade-providing roof, creating your own little relaxation oasis. Meanwhile, the small road that runs past the house will lead you through a calm settlement straight to the ocean. A daily cleaning service (except Sundays) is included, while breakfast and evening meals can be booked on request as an extra. Other amenities such as an airport pick-up service, rental car arrangement, catamaran and fishing excursions, babysitting service, or a private chef can also be arranged. Just a few hundred metres away, you can also find a tropical spa, with a range of massages and wellness treatments to truly indulge yourself.
Specials:
- Enjoy the neighbouring spa with a royal massage or shiatsu treatment, or get a henna tattoo.
- Indulge yourself at the Blue Pearl Pool.
- Why not try out a butler service to take care of everything?
Surroundings:
Anyone looking for an oasis away from the tourist centres will be right at home in La Gaulette on the south-west coast of Mauritius, close to the table mountain of Le Morne Brabant. Shops, restaurants, a bank, and sports providers are also nearby. This region is ideal for discovering the different sides and colours to this volcanic island, with mountains, tropical forests, and unique natural wonders. Surfers and scuba divers will also find excellent conditions for their sports, while the longest beach of the island, from Flic en Flac to Wolmar, is home to gems such as corals and shells. The Casela Nature and Leisure Park is also nearby, which offers an insight into the tropics in over 4000 hectares of space, including paradise birds and giant tortoises. High above sea level, Chamarel offers stunning views (Rivière de Cap falls into a waterfall around 100 metres underwater), as well as coffee and rum tastings, both of which are of excellent quality here.
