Surroundings:
While the town of Grand Baie, located 2 km away, is known as the tourist centre of Mauritius, Pereybère provides a somewhat more peaceful option. Here, in the north-west of the island, the landscape is rather flat, and even to this day the region is dominated by sugar cane fields. Around Pereybère, you can enjoy stunning beaches and cultural highlights. The town’s own sandy beach offers shimmering ocean water and a beach bar with cool refreshments. Watersports fans can enjoy numerous options here, while those seeking nightlife can head to Grand Baie with its discos and bars, as well as a shopping centre. Mo Residence is also the ideal starting point from which to discover the island by rental car. We highly recommend heading to Cap Malheureux; this fishing village lies around 4 km away in the far north of Mauritius, and its picturesque chapel with red saddled roof is ideal for stunning photos.
