The centre of Flic en Flac is just ten minutes away on foot. This holiday destination is one of the most popular on the island, and the local beach especially is busy at the weekend with locals and tourists alike. You can also enjoy something a little more unique, with dolphin swimming excursions just a stone’s throw from the hotel. Another tip is the capital, Port Louis, which you shouldn’t miss out on. The colourful parasols of the Caudan Waterfront are also a great photo subject, and a walk through the market hall is a real experience. Further to the south and somewhat more in-land, you can find Chamarel with its natural sights, including the seven-coloured earth and the 100 metre high waterfall. The rum distillery of Chamarel is also worth a visit; here you can discover how Mauritian rum is produced and even try it if you like.
