This resort, renovated in 2019, offers over 100 rooms and communal areas with maritime decorative elements. The Prestige area and Deluxe area (with some beachfront rooms) are clearly separated from each other, and stand alongside a lobby, bars, and restaurants, as well as a third pool as adjoining parts of the resort. There is also a spa, fitness room, and tennis courts shared amongst the guests in the rear area of the resort. The heart of the resort is a lively, stylish café - the Cpicerie. Guests will find their usual barista coffee and confectionery delicacies. And in the evening, a DJ on the beach creates an exhilarating atmosphere with setting sun and a hip cocktail in hand. More traditional and less touristic, but still with plenty to offer beach holidaymakers, the beach of Palmar, surrounded by palm trees and filao trees, is around 7 km long. The east coast of Mauritius stretches from Grand Gaube in the north, across Belle Mare and Mahébourg, down to Blue Bay in the south, is the calmer side of the island. There is plenty of natural beauty here that is worth an excursion to go and see. Go on a boat trip to the stunning Ile aux Cerfs with its golf course and wonderful swimming conditions, or pay a visit to the Grand River South East waterfalls. Enjoy views of the wild Bamboo Mountains and go quad biking in the Domaine de l’Etoile, a huge nature park and adventure park.
