Surroundings:
The small town of Pereybere lies on the coastal road, between Grand Baie and Cap Malheureux. This quaint village is not too touristy, and offers a good mix of tourists and locals. Just behind Pereybere, with the view of the offshore island Coin de Mire behind it, you can see fishing boats every day bringing their freshly-caught produce back to shore. If you drive along the street a little further then you come to the colourful Tamilen Temple. Another impressive sight awaits a short distance away, namely the picturesque Notre Dame Auxiliatrice Chapel in Cap Malheureux, with its impressive red roof that serves as the subject of many a holiday photo. And those looking for more action and activity should head the other way from the accommodation towards Grand Baie, which offers everything you could wish for, including shops, numerous restaurants, and excellent nightlife.
