Surroundings:
White coral beaches, fascinating diving grounds, and tropical nature and bird sanctuaries; romantic, idyllic, and colourful are just some of the words that sum up the north of the island. The fishing town of Cap Malheureux offers a wonderful view of the coast and the offshore islands. Its chapel, Notre Dame Auxiliatrice, with its bright red rood, is a real picture opportunity, and the windmills of the Belle Rive sugar factory is a cultural highlight of the island. The Hindu temples invite you in to discover somewhat, or you can go sailing with the hotel's own catamaran. Take to the water towards the island of Coin de Mire and enjoy a maritime barbeque nearby. The incredible underwater world can also be discovered if you want to go diving. Meanwhile, Pamplemousses, which is 20 km away, invites you to visit its 25-hectare Botanical Garden for a tour, which will also impress children thanks to the huge leaves and fruits. An excursion to Grand Baie is also worth it for its cultural and natural properties, with shopping boulevards, yacht harbours, and nightlife serving as a contrast to much of the rest of the island.
