Description:
Live in harmony with nature! This somewhat intimate estate is part of the Attitude family. This 3.5 star hotel combines tropical holiday lifestyle with authenticity, calm, and elegance. The estate also offers more for solo travellers and newlyweds, including emotional moments, unforgettable photos, and an all-round package where you can indulge yourself to your heart's content. Tropical Attitude, or the tropical way of life, is all about a laid-back tempo, surrounded by beautiful scents and scenery, with the sun on your skin and endless blue all around. Besides its mixture of culture and a tropical lifestyle, the Tropical Attitude offers two different restaurants, a streetfood concept, and cooking courses where you will learn to prepare island specialities (with recipes to take home with you). There is also the weekly “Made in Mauritius” market, where local artists offer their souvenirs to you to buy. Two different treatment rooms in the spa area are open for massages, which is especially relaxing with local products and natural sunshine. Twice each day, you can board a boat to the Ile aux Cerfs, with a real treat being a catamaran day trip with barbeque on board, bringing you to the waterfall and providing enough time for snorkelling and swimming. For those who'd rather stay on land, there is darts, table tennis, or petanque to enjoy.
Specials:
- Enjoy tropical cocktails with the sand between your toes at the bar lounge or by the pool!
- Make use of the shuttle boat to the Ile aux Cerfs, take a picnic basket with you, and enjoy the wonder of playing golf on this small paradise island.
- A catamaran day trip will bring you to the Grand River South East Waterfalls, and you can also enjoy an on-board barbeque.
Surroundings:
Even the surroundings of the hotel can be called tropical. The peaks of the Bambous Mountains to the south of the fishing town Trou d'Eau Douce, huge sugar cane fields, lagoons with crystal-clear water, and lush green palms: all of that and more can be found in the east of the island, where nature is king. While it used to be a real insider's tip, the Ile aux Cerfs is, these days, one of the most popular excursion destinations on Mauritius thanks to its coral beaches. Thankfully, you can get there with ease via the hotel shuttle. Once there, don't stay in the harbour, but rather explore a little bit and try to find your own private beach oasis in the south and south east. The east coast of Mauritius is also home to the Grand River South East Waterfalls, where the largest river in the world falls over volcanic rock and you can spot majestic tropical birds with a little luck.
